SHAREWARE :

Shareware are software that are also available for download from the internet, but they are not free. However you can download an evaluation copy usually do not contain all the features of the complete programs. If you like the program,then you can purchase  the complete one by ordering it through the internet. Some shareware programs come complete and the authors usually request that you the user, pay for the programs if you want to continue using them after the trial period.

COMPRESSED FILES :

Some of the files that is available for download from the internet are compressed files. That is, files whose size are reduced so that it cuts down on download time. After downloading, you have to restore the files back to their original form before you can use them.
